As the Founder and Chief Compliance Officer of Veracity Compliance, she brings over a decade of hands-on experience in public works construction, prevailing wage law, apprenticeship tracking, and regulatory enforcement.
Driven by a deep sense of integrity and community impact, Malia established Veracity Compliance to help contractors, developers, and government agencies navigate the complexities of federal, state, and local labor laws. Her leadership has been instrumental in building a firm that’s trusted across California for accuracy, transparency, and results.
Malia holds a degree in Business Administration and Business Management, blending strategic insight with operational expertise to drive client success.

Jonathon Darnell, Co-Founder of Veracity Compliance, was raised in the small town of Memphis, Texas, where values like integrity, hard work, and community shaped the foundation of his character. He went on to study Civil Engineering at West Texas A&M University, earning his degree while developing a passion for infrastructure, construction standards, and regulatory precision.
With over eight years of experience in industrial construction, Jonathon has led teams on complex projects requiring deep technical knowledge, rigorous safety standards, and strict compliance with public and private sector regulations. His field experience gives him a unique, practical perspective on the real-world challenges contractors and developers face—particularly in navigating compliance on high-value construction projects.
Driven by a desire to build something greater, Jonathon relocated to San Diego, California, to pursue expanded business opportunities. There, he co-founded Veracity Compliance—a firm rooted in integrity, industry expertise, and a mission to simplify labor compliance for contractors across the nation.
Jonathon is focused on scaling Veracity Compliance from the West Coast to the East Coast, bringing clarity, reliability, and professional excellence to clients nationwide.
